Your man for the job in NW CAMBS is "ROBERT H. BROWN" better known as 'One Man & His Spade' who lives in Upwood on 'Fairmead Park'. He's well known locally for being a man of action and likes to lead by example. He is the man who has been responsible for re-opening the Bury/Upwood footpath which was once totally overgrown and unusable. He continues to maintain it voluntarily and is funded by the people that use it in the way of small donations they freely give to him.
ROBERT also supports other concerns locally including the 'WARBOYS LANDFILL ACTION GROUP', THE RAMSEY 1940's WEEKEND, RAMSEY LEARNING CHAMPIONS and THE UPWOOD ROAD SAFTEY GROUP.
He says, " I want to give the voters of NW CAMBS back there independence as well as their country, to take back control of their own lives and take responsibility for themselves ... freedom to choose, rid ourselves of Big Brother. It's your life not theirs or mine. Their job and my job is to serve - your job is to tell me what you want me to do and pay me what you believe I'm worth.
